Eight Sleep Pod 3 Review
Eight Sleep Pod 3 Max comes with a 6-layer mattress that is designed to work with the feel of the cover. I would say the mattress is on the softer side, even with the Pod 3 cover.
Setup of the Pod 3 max is easy just ensure you have distilled water and some hydrogen peroxide hand as you will need that to prime the system. Setting up the interface is easy, and the app will walk you through installation step by step. I recommend downloading the app before even opening the box as the instructions are very detailed.

Although the Pod 3 is expensive, there is no other device on the market that can do what it does. While similar devices like Chilipad can heat and cool your bed, Chilipad doesn’t have sophisticated tracking like Eight Sleep.
I found the Pod 3 is a significant upgrade over the Pod 2 Pro. It has the same look but the cover is noticeably softer and feels less plastic.

There are three key areas to the Ultra Pod 4 system: the smart cooling cover, the adjustable base, and the control Pod. Each piece works together to create a cooler, more comfortable sleep experience.
The cover is a water-based cooling and heating system with dual temperature zones. You and your partner can adjust each side of the bed to suit your exact needs, while the smart tracker will learn preferences for each person.
The Pod 4 Ultra has an enhanced cooling system, designed to reach optimum temperatures in even extreme conditions. As a smart system, it’s also capable of adjusting the temperature throughout the night to meet your changing needs. climate-controlled mattress. You can warm it or cool it with an app on your phone. It also tracks sleep including stages of sleep, heart rate, breathing, and motion. The Eight Sleep Pod Pro is also more comfortable than the original Eight Sleep Pod and has more sophisticated tracking. It can even gently wake you up with small vibrations.
Eight sleep Application Review
• You can access the setting by clicking on your name in the top left corner.
• To add a partner and assign a left/Right side , Choose ‘Edit Sides’ then ‘+’ in the top right corner.
• Under device settings. You can set your network. 2.4GHz WiFi is really important here; 5GHz is not supported.
• You can also adjust the Hub’s light brightness level, location and temperature units. If you have trouble sleeping with a bright blue light on, you can set it to 0.
• From homepage, set your schedule. If preferred, set a different schedule for a each day. Click on ‘+’ to add a new schedule.
• The best thing about the Mattress is its alarm. If you have a set wake-up time, you can be sure this bed alarm will efficiently wake you up.
• You can even choose an intensity level, with 10 being the highest. I have it set at 4. Level 10 intensity feels like a person is shaking you to wake you up .
• Besides the alarm intensity, you can set the bed time and wake-up time temperatures too. Your mattress will start heating/cooling half an hour before your set bedtime.
• +10 is the hottest temperature setting, while -10 is the coolest . In extreme cold setting, your bed feel may damp. That ‘s normal and is because of its pipes.
• You can also set temperature at different sleep stages.
• The Pod Pro’s temperature setting feature is very helpful. It can be adjusted to your body. You can change it whenever you like.
• The dual-zone cooling and heating allow you to set separate ( or Same) temperature on each side, on the app.
• You will not be able to feel the temperature in the middle or in the lower half of the mattress.
• The 2nd tab shows your sleep fitness and scores your sleep based on your sleep time , time to get out of your bed, toss and turns, and more.
